The bond is issued the same day SCP receives the completed application and your agency’s NET premium check. It is filed directly with the Contractors State License Board (or, if you so desire, returned to you for filing). You will receive both the agent’s copy and the principal’s copy of the bond. RenewalsWith SCP's direct billing program, our producers average over 80% renewal retention. Five notices, all of which show your agency as the bond's producer, are sent to your contractor starting as early as 105 days prior to renewal. Your commission check on renewal premium is sent with your monthly statement. Monthly StatementsProducer’s monthly statements are generated on the 5th of the month and show detail of all bond transactions occurring during the previous month. Commission checks accompany the monthly statement. ID CardYour contractor client receives a sturdy plastic ID Card upon bond issuance and at each renewal. |
